GA4, GTM and Meta CAPI Tracking Setup Consultant
I set up and audit conversion tracking so Google, Meta and your reports agree, and every decision about ad spend rests on numbers you can trust.

What is GA4 conversion tracking setup?
GA4 conversion tracking setup means configuring Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and ad platform pixels so every lead, call, purchase and key action is recorded once, with its source. I plan the events, implement them, test for duplicates, add server-side signals such as the Meta Conversions API where useful, and document the result.
Problems I fix
Numbers differ in every tool
Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and your CRM each show a different count of leads.
Conversions are double counted
Duplicate tags and overlapping events inflate results and mislead optimisation.
Phone and WhatsApp leads are invisible
Many Indian businesses win through calls and chat, which standard setups ignore.
Consent and privacy are unclear
Tracking needs to respect user consent and local law, and be documented.
iOS and browser limits drop data
Browser-only tracking loses signals, so server-side options help.

How the work runs
Plan the measurement
We list the actions that matter and how each should be named and valued.
Implement
Tags, events and server-side signals are configured in GTM, GA4 and the platforms.
Test
Each event is checked with real submissions and debug tools, including duplicates.
Document and monitor
You receive a plain-language map of what is tracked and where, with alerts for breakage.
In detail
Why tracking is the first job
Every budget decision rests on a count: how many leads, from where and at what cost. When Google Ads says 40 leads, Meta says 55 and your CRM says 30, you cannot know where to spend next. A GA4 conversion tracking setup done properly removes that argument. It is the first thing I check in any performance marketing engagement.
Start with a measurement plan
I list the actions that matter to your business: form submissions, calls, WhatsApp clicks, quote requests, purchases, and qualified-lead outcomes. For each I define a name, trigger, value and where it should be reported. This one-page plan prevents the common mess of overlapping, inconsistent events.
GA4 and Google Tag Manager
GA4 records user behaviour as events. Google Tag Manager controls when each tag fires without editing the website every time. I configure the data layer where needed, set key events in GA4, link GA4 with Google Ads and Search Console, and keep a clean naming standard. The container is documented so another person can maintain it.
Meta pixel and Conversions API
The Meta pixel records browser events, and the Conversions API sends server events. Together, with proper deduplication, they give Meta better signals for Meta Ads delivery. I check event match quality, avoid duplicate events and make sure lead and purchase events carry useful parameters.
Google Ads conversions
Google Ads should optimise toward actions that matter, not every page view. I set primary and secondary conversion actions, add enhanced conversions where suitable and import offline outcomes when you can send them. Cleaner conversions improve automated bidding in Google Ads and Performance Max.
Calls, WhatsApp and offline leads
Many sales never touch a form. I track click-to-call and WhatsApp clicks, add call tracking where useful and set up a simple way to mark which leads became customers, such as a column in your CRM or sheet. That outcome can then be imported back, so campaigns learn from quality.
Reporting you can read
I build a Looker Studio dashboard with the few numbers you review weekly: spend, leads, cost per lead, cost per qualified lead and revenue where available. It pulls from the same sources, so there is a single version of the truth to discuss.
Privacy and consent
Tracking must respect consent and applicable law. I design the setup to work with a consent tool, avoid collecting sensitive data and note what is stored. For your policy wording, please involve a legal professional.
Ecommerce tracking
For online stores I add product, cart and purchase events, so return on ad spend is based on real orders. See ecommerce marketing for how that feeds growth decisions.

Questions about analytics & tracking
What is the Meta Conversions API?
It sends conversion events from your server to Meta alongside the browser pixel, which helps recover signals lost to browser limits and improves optimisation when set up with deduplication.
Do I need both GA4 and platform pixels?
Usually yes. GA4 gives a cross-channel view, while platform pixels feed each ad system's optimisation. They need to be reconciled, not removed.
Can you track phone calls and WhatsApp clicks?
Yes. Click events can be tracked in GTM, and call tracking tools can add call outcomes where needed.
Will tracking slow my website?
A clean setup has little impact. I review tags for weight and load them in a controlled way.
Do I need a cookie consent banner?
It depends on your audience and the tools you use. I recommend a consent approach and implement tracking to respect it, and I suggest you confirm legal requirements with a professional.
Who owns the analytics accounts?
You do. Properties and containers are created in your accounts, and I work with the access you give.
